António Guterres’ official visit to Bangladesh at Yunus’ invitation

UN Secretary-General António Guterres will visit Dhaka for a four-day trip from March 13 to 16. The visit, confirmed by the UN Secretary-General’s office, comes at the invitation of Bangladesh’s interim government’s chief adviser, Dr. Muhammad Yunus. On February 7, Dr. Khalilur Rahman, the Special Envoy for Rohingya and priority issues, handed over the invitation letter from Dr. Yunus to the UN Secretary-General during a meeting in New York.
