Security Adviser Visits Police Checkpoints in Dhaka

To ensure public safety and maintain law and order in Dhaka, Security Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury conducted a surprise inspection of the police patrol operations. On Wednesday morning, he visited various key points and intersections in the capital, including coordinated checkpoints and police posts, as well as several police stations. The Ministry of Home Affairs reported that the Adviser started his visit from his residence in Baridhara DOHS, covering areas such as Banani, Bijoy Sarani (Novotheater), Manik Mia Avenue, Kalabagan, Eden College, and New Market Police Station. He then proceeded to Shahbagh, Motso Bhaban, Magbazar, Hatirjheel, Police Plaza, and Gulshan Police Station before returning to Baridhara via United Hospital. During his visit, he interacted with law enforcement officers on duty at police stations and checkpoints, providing necessary guidance and instructing them to stay vigilant to ensure law and order throughout the country.
