Eid Ticket Alert: Advance Bus Booking Opens on March 14

Advance bus ticket sales for Eid-ul-Fitr will begin on March 14, with tickets for the seven days leading up to Eid available from March 25.
This decision was made during a preparatory meeting of the Bangladesh Bus-Truck Owners Association on Thursday. The association’s acting general secretary, Shubhankar Ghosh Rakesh, confirmed that advance ticket sales would commence on March 14.
Passengers will be able to purchase tickets both online and from physical counters, though some transport companies will sell tickets exclusively online this year.
He emphasized that no additional fares beyond the officially set rates by BRTA will be allowed, and all transport owners have been instructed accordingly. A monitoring team from the association will be stationed at terminals to oversee compliance. Additionally, for safety measures, night coaches are expected to be recorded before departure.
