Chief Advisor Mourns and Demands Swift Justice for the Guilty

The child who was a victim of rape in Magura has passed away, and Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor, has expressed his condolences regarding the tragic incident. His press secretary, Apurbo Jahangir, stated on Thursday (March 13) that the Chief Advisor has instructed authorities to bring the accused to justice swiftly.
Earlier, the child passed away at 1 PM on March 13 at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka. Despite all efforts, including advanced medical treatment and expert care, the child could not be saved. CMH reported that the child suffered three cardiac arrests earlier that morning. While the child was stabilized twice, the third attempt to revive the heartbeat was unsuccessful.
The child had been admitted to CMH on March 8 in critical condition. The Bangladesh Army has extended heartfelt condolences to the grieving family and has pledged to support them in any way needed, praying for the soul’s peace.
