U.S. Congressman Gary Peters to Arrive in Bangladesh on March 17

U.S. Senator Gary Charles Peters, who chairs the Congressional Committee on Arms Purchases and holds significant influence, is set to visit Dhaka on March 17 for a two-day trip. During his visit, he will meet with the Chief Advisor and the Foreign Affairs Adviser. Additionally, he is scheduled for courtesy meetings with the heads of the Army, Air Force, and Navy. These discussions are expected to focus on security cooperation between the two countries. There may also be talks regarding the sale of U.S. security equipment to the three branches of the military. Although Peters is a member of the Democratic Party, he holds a prominent position in the U.S. government.
