The Meteorological Department has forecast rain with thunderstorms in Dhaka and four other divisions of the country. Meanwhile, other regions are expected to experience partly cloudy skies with mostly dry weather.

According to a bulletin signed by meteorologist A.K.M. Nazmul Haque on Sunday (March 23) morning, a seasonal low-pressure system is currently over the southern Bay of Bengal. As a result, some areas in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, and Khulna divisions may experience temporary gusty winds, lightning, or rain with thunderstorms. Other regions are likely to have partly cloudy skies with dry conditions.

On Saturday (March 22), the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 36°C in Rangamati. The Meteorological Department has stated that daytime temperatures may slightly increase across the country on Sunday, while nighttime temperatures may decrease slightly. On Monday (March 24), daytime temperatures are expected to rise slightly, with nighttime temperatures remaining nearly unchanged. By Tuesday (March 25), both day and night temperatures may see a slight increase.

The extended five-day forecast suggests a gradual rise in both day and night temperatures.
