The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued 15 directives to ensure the safety and convenience of travelers during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. These include increasing patrols by the military, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), police, and RAB, along with measures to prevent crime and maintain law and order. Key instructions involve ensuring no extra charges on public transport, preventing overloading, and handling traffic congestion effectively, especially on major bridges like the Jamuna and Padma. Additionally, market security will be enhanced, and emergency services will be on standby to handle accidents. Authorities are also urged to prevent certain vehicles from operating during peak travel days and to establish control rooms for maintaining order.
