12-Hour Gas Shortage from Evening, Many Areas Affected

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC has announced that due to urgent maintenance work at the Aminbazar DRS, there will be low gas pressure in several areas across the country for 12 hours from Wednesday (April 2) evening.

 

According to a press release issued by Titas Gas, the low-pressure period will last from 6 PM on April 2 until 6 AM on April 3. Areas expected to be affected include Savar and Hemayetpur, as well as parts of Dhaka city such as Aminbazar, Mirpur, both sides of Mirpur Road, Shyamoli, Adabor, Agargaon, Mohammadpur, Lalmatia, Dhanmondi, Hazaribagh, and Kamrangirchar.

 

Additionally, low gas pressure may also affect Keraniganj (from Kholamura to Kalatia and Hazratpur), Hatirpool, Farmgate, Azimpur, New Market, Lalbagh, Shahbagh, and surrounding areas.

 

Titas Gas has apologized for any inconvenience caused to consumers during this temporary disruption.
