The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka, through a Facebook post on Monday, April 21, conveyed that the Trump administration has announced plans to file criminal charges against individuals involved in visa fraud or those who facilitate the entry and sheltering of undocumented immigrants in the United States. The post stated that the U.S. government, in coordination with various agencies, will intensify efforts to combat visa fraud and prevent illegal immigration. Those engaged in visa fraud may face a lifetime ban from entering the United States. The message emphasized that a country without secure borders cannot sustain itself as a nation.
