Dr. Yunus meets SpaceX VP in Doha

Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize laureate and Chief Advisor of the interim government, met with Lauren Dreyer, Vice President of Global Engagement at SpaceX, during a courtesy call at the Earthna Summit 2025 in Doha, Qatar, on Wednesday, April 23.
Dr. Yunus had arrived in Doha earlier to attend the Earthna Summit, with his delegation landing at Hamad International Airport on Monday, April 21, at 9:40 PM local time via a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight. He was received at the airport by Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Qatar, Md. Nazrul Islam.
Joining Dr. Yunus on this visit were Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Touhid Hossain and Energy Advisor Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan. Notably, for the first time in Bangladesh’s history, four national female athletes also accompanied the Chief Advisor on the international visit.
