14 SP Officers Transferred in Police Reshuffle

Fourteen police officials holding the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) have been transferred, according to a circular issued on Wednesday (April 30) by the Public Security Division (Police-1 branch) of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Signed by Deputy Secretary Mahbubur Rahman, the order states that Riaz Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Police Commissioner of Gazipur GMP, has been posted to APBn; AIG Md. Nazmul Islam from Police Headquarters to APBn; SP A H M Yadul Islam from SB to Police Headquarters; and SP Md. Jasim Uddin from Khulna PTC to SPBn. A previous transfer order of Mohammad Tajul Islam, Deputy Commissioner of Khulna KMP to APBn, has been cancelled. Additionally, SP Md. Abul Kalam Azad from PBI has been transferred to Sylhet SMP, and Commandant Mahamudul Hasan of Sylhet In-Service Training Center to SB. Other changes include Special SP Mohammad Moniruzzaman of CID to SB, Deputy Commissioner Tahiyat Ahmed Chowdhury of Sylhet SMP to Sylhet In-Service Training Center, AIG Molla Azad Hossain from Police HQ to DMP, AIG (Media) Enamul Haque Sagar from Police HQ to Dhaka RRF, Commandant Tanvir Ahmed from Bandarban In-Service Training Center to AIG at Police HQ, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Abu Bakar Siddique of Barisal BMP to Chattogram CMP, and CID’s Md. Mamunur Rashid to AIG at Police Headquarters.
