Transfer Order Issued for Four Additional DIGs

The Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs has transferred four senior police officers holding the rank of Additional Deputy Inspector General (Additional DIG). The transfer order was issued on Sunday, June 15, by the President’s directive, with the official notification signed by Deputy Secretary Mahbubur Rahman. Among those transferred are Ali Akbar Khan, previously the Commandant of Dhaka RRF, who has been reassigned; Mohammad Shamsul Haque, who served as the Commander of Chattogram 9 APBN, has also been transferred; and Md. Nazrul Islam, Additional DIG of Dhaka APBN, has been moved to the CID as an Additional DIG. Additionally, Rumana Akter, formerly Additional DIG at the Dhaka CID, has been appointed as the new Commandant of Dhaka RRF.
