The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast the possibility of storms with wind speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour in six districts by 1 AM. The affected areas may also experience rain accompanied by thunderstorms.
According to the weather bulletin issued for inland river ports on Saturday, June 21, temporary gusty or squally winds from the south or southeast, ranging between 45 to 60 km/h, are expected over the regions of Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Chattogram, and Cox’s Bazar. These areas may also see rain or thunderstorms during this period.
Authorities have advised river ports in these regions to display cautionary signal number one.
