Rain Forecasted Nationwide

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has issued a forecast predicting rain or thunderstorms with intermittent gusty winds across much of the country within the next 24 hours, beginning from 9 am on Saturday.

The weather bulletin released this morning states that light to moderate rain or thunderstorms accompanied by brief strong winds are likely in most areas of Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions. Scattered showers are also expected in parts of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Chittagong divisions. Additionally, some locations in Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet may experience moderately heavy to heavy rainfall.

Temperatures, both day and night, are expected to rise slightly across the country.

The highest temperature recorded on Friday was 33°C in Syedpur (Rangpur division), while the lowest temperature early Saturday morning was 22.8°C in Bandarban.

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:36 pm on Saturday and rise again at 5:32 am on Sunday.
