At Least Four Die, Over 240 Hospitalized in Bangladesh Due to Dengue in 24 Hours
At least four dengue-related deaths and 247 new hospitalizations were reported across Bangladesh in the past 24 hours, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
All four fatalities occurred in areas under the Dhaka South City Corporation.
With these latest updates, the country’s dengue death toll for the year has risen to 114, while the total number of confirmed cases has reached 28,202.
Of these, 26,781 patients have already been discharged from hospitals, including 20,647 from regions outside Dhaka.
Currently, 1,307 patients are receiving treatment in various hospitals nationwide, with 867 of them coming from outside the capital.
