BGB Clarifies Conference Misinformation

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has clarified that misinformation is circulating regarding the Director General-level “Border Conference” between BGB and India’s Border Security Force (BSF). In a verified Facebook post on Friday, December 27, BGB stated that some media outlets have reported the conference would not take place this year, causing confusion among the public. BGB explained that the conference, initially scheduled for November in India, was postponed by mutual agreement and rescheduled for February. Both border forces recognize the importance of the conference, and preparations are ongoing to ensure its success.
