A Major Warning for the Entire Country

The Meteorological Department has said that nighttime temperatures across the country may drop in the next 24 hours, and patches of fog are also likely to form.
On Saturday morning (22 November), the weather office reported that by 9 a.m. Sunday, the weather across Bangladesh is expected to remain mostly dry with partly cloudy skies. Light to moderate fog may form in some areas during the early hours of the morning.
Nighttime temperatures may fall slightly nationwide, while daytime temperatures are expected to remain mostly unchanged.
According to the Met Office, an extension of the subcontinental high-pressure system lies over West Bengal and adjoining regions. A seasonal low is located over the southern Bay of Bengal, with its extension reaching the northern part of the bay. A low-pressure area is likely to form over the South Andaman Sea and adjacent areas within the next 24 hours.
