NCP Meets Consensus Commission over Reform Issues

An eight-member delegation from the National Citizens’ Party (NCP), led by convenor Nahid Islam, held a meeting with the National Consensus Commission on Saturday, April 19. The discussion took place at the LD Hall in the Parliament complex, where the commission’s office is located. Vice-chairman of the commission, Dr. Ali Riaz, along with other members, was present at the session.

 

The NCP delegation included Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain, Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari, Joint Convenor Sarwar Tushar, Chief Organizer Hasnat Abdullah, Senior Joint Convenor Samanta Sharmin, and two others.

 

Earlier, on Thursday, April 17, a five-member team from the BNP, led by Standing Committee member Barrister Jamir Uddin Sircar, also met with the National Consensus Commission.
