At the inauguration of the Kishoreganj District BNP conference on Saturday (September 20), BNP General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir stated that even parties that took a different stance during 1971, and those born much later, talk about the BNP. However, he emphasized that the party is like a phoenix—it has faced attempts to dismantle it, but these conspiracies have failed, and instead, those who plotted against it have fled.

The conference began with the raising of the national and party flags accompanied by the national anthem.

Fakhrul Islam Alamgir remarked, “Many conspiracies are underway, and false propaganda is being spread against the BNP. But we are a party that was not formed overnight; we have grown through struggle and perseverance.”

Commenting on the significance of the event, he added, “Today’s conference is not an ordinary gathering. After 15 years of the sacrifices of countless BNP leaders and activists, this is an opportunity that we must make the most of.”

Addressing the party members, he further stated, “The leader whose name is chanted in slogans will be considered a minus.”
