Tigers to depart tonight for Champions Trophy

The Champions Trophy is set to kick off on February 19, and teams have already announced their final squads, with many beginning practice sessions. The Bangladesh team has also been training in Mirpur over the past few days.
The Tigers are set to leave for Dubai about a week ahead of the tournament. They will depart from Dhaka tonight (Thursday, February 13) at 1:00 AM. Before the competition, Najmul Hossain Shanto’s team will play a practice match on February 17.
Prior to their departure, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) organized an official photoshoot yesterday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, attended by all players and members of the team management.
Bangladesh will begin their Champions Trophy campaign against India. Their group stage matches will continue with games against New Zealand on February 24 and hosts Pakistan on February 27.
