Suchona Memorial Foundation Expresses Commitment to Provide Medical and Toiletries Support to Bottomley Home Orphanage in Tejgaon
The Suchona Memorial Foundation has expressed its commitment to regularly supply medical and toiletries supplies to the Bottomley Home Orphanage, a traditional orphanage and child care center run by the Catholic Christian community located in Tejgaon, capital Dhaka.
Recently, a special verbal commitment was implemented regarding the welfare of the orphan children at the institution. During this time, a cordial discussion took place between Al Baru Mustakim Nibir, Chairman of the Suchona Memorial Foundation, and Sister Jane, Sister-in-Charge of the Bottomley Orphanage Center.
During the discussion, Sister-in-Charge Sister Jane requested regular assistance from the Foundation in the form of necessary medical supplies, soap, and specifically sanitary napkins for the orphan adolescent and young girls every month. Considering this special necessity and humanitarian aspect of the orphan children, Al Baru Mustakim Nibir, Chairman of the Suchona Memorial Foundation, strongly assured all possible cooperation from the Foundation.
At the end of the meeting, as part of this humanitarian initiative and a token of goodwill, Al Baru Mustakim Nibir—Publisher of The Times of Dhaka, Head of the Crime and Investigation Cell of the daily Manabkantha, and Chairman of the Suchona Memorial Foundation—handed over his self-authored books ‘Onyonno Suchona’ and ‘Purnota’ as a gift to Sister Jane.
Expressing satisfaction with this social responsibility and humanitarian initiative, the concerned parties expressed hope that such initiatives will play a vital role in improving the living standards of orphan children and fulfilling their basic needs.
