Zubaida Rahman Inaugurates Specialized Free Medical Camp in Bhashantek

Dr. Zubaida Rahman, Vice Chairperson of the Ziaur Rahman Foundation and wife of BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman, inaugurated a specialized free medical camp along with a medicine distribution programme in Dhaka’s Bhashantek area. Organized by the foundation, the initiative also included the distribution of food supplies to families affected by a recent fire in the area on Saturday, February 7, beginning around 11:00 am, where Dr. Rahman attended as the chief guest. Later in the afternoon, she visited an eye care camp arranged in the Karail area of Mohakhali and took part in distributing books among local children and adolescents, highlighting the foundation’s focus on both healthcare and social welfare support for underprivileged communities.
