Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus extended heartfelt greetings and congratulations to the Hindu community on the occasion of Saraswati Puja. In his message, Dr. Yunus emphasized that Bangladesh is a nation built on religious harmony, where people of all faiths have coexisted peacefully for thousands of years. “This country belongs to all of us, regardless of religion or caste. It is a safe home for everyone,” he stated.
He highlighted that the interim government, established following the historic student-worker-mass uprising on August 5, is committed to improving the lives of all citizens and ensuring equal rights for everyone, irrespective of caste, religion, color, or community.
Dr. Yunus noted that Goddess Saraswati represents truth, justice, and enlightenment. On this auspicious occasion, he encouraged the Hindu community to commit themselves to the nation’s progress and development by embracing the spirit of enlightenment. He concluded by wishing peace, welfare, and prosperity for all citizens of Bangladesh.
