ICC Excludes Bangladesh from T20 World Cup, Scotland Named as Replacement

Bangladesh will not participate in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup to be held in India. The decision follows Bangladesh’s refusal to tour India, citing security concerns. Despite raising the issue, no resolution was reached with the International Cricket Council (ICC), and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) maintained its stance.

As a result, the ICC has confirmed Scotland as Bangladesh’s replacement for the tournament. The development was reported by cricket-focused website Cricbuzz through a post on its official Facebook page.
