At the helm of the coaching unit is Phil Simmons, the former West Indies cricketer and experienced coach. Appointed as head coach of the national team, Simmons is contracted with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) until the 2027 ICC ODI World Cup. As per his contract, he earns a monthly salary of BDT 30.75 lakh.

Former Pakistani leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed serves as the team’s spin bowling consultant on a contractual basis. Typically called in for specific series or training camps, Mushtaq is paid BDT 86,100 per day for his services.

One of the most well-known local names in Bangladesh cricket coaching is Mohammad Salahuddin, who took charge as the team’s senior assistant coach in November 2024. Originally contracted until March 2025, his deal was recently extended through November 2027—along with a salary raise. He now earns approximately BDT 9 lakh per month, making him one of the highest-paid domestic coaches in the country’s history.

Shane Tait, the former Australian fast bowler, is leading the pace bowling department. Focused on developing young pacers and improving speed and skill, he draws a monthly salary of BDT 17.22 lakh.

James Pamment, the fielding coach, is also a key figure in improving the team’s fielding and fitness standards. His current salary stands at BDT 13.53 lakh per month.
