Bangladesh Name Squad for Asia Cup 2025 and Netherlands T20I Series
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has revealed the national squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, set to be held next month in the United Arab Emirates. The same lineup will also feature in the three-match T20I series against the Netherlands in Sylhet, starting on 30 August.
Wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan Sohan has earned a recall to the T20 side after nearly three years, with his last appearance coming during the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.
Star opener Litton Das will captain the team in both the Asia Cup and the Netherlands series.
For the Asia Cup, four players—Soumya Sarkar, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Tanvir Islam, and Hasan Mahmud—have been named as standby options.
