Youth Arrested in Pubail with Foreign Pistol and Yaba Tablets

A drug dealer has been arrested by police in the Haribari Tek area of Ward 41 under Pubail Metropolitan Police Station in Gazipur City. Law enforcement recovered a foreign-made pistol along with a magazine, one round of ammunition, and 400 Yaba tablets.
The arrested individual, Nadim (45), is the son of Matiur Rahman from the Sapmara area of Ward 41 in Gazipur Metropolitan City.
At a press briefing held on Wednesday afternoon at the Tongi East Police Station conference room, Deputy Police Commissioner (South Crime) of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, N.M. Nasiruddin, provided these details.
Nasiruddin stated that based on secret information, an operation was conducted around 2:00 AM on Tuesday night, led by Pubail Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sheikh Amirul Islam. Nadim was arrested from his elder sister’s residence in Ilamni.
During the search, an Italian-made pistol, one round of ammunition with a magazine, and 400 Yaba tablets were recovered. Following legal procedures, he has been sent to jail through the court.
