To build a pro-people government, the student, youth, and volunteer wings of the BNP—Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, and Swechchasebak Dal—have announced a new nationwide program to gather the views of young people. The announcement came from Jubo Dal President Abdul Monayem Munna at a joint press conference held on Monday (April 28) at the BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan, Dhaka. Addressing the media, Munna alleged that many allies of the ruling Awami League are now shifting toward Jamaat and the NCP. He then detailed the upcoming events: the first seminar and rally will be held in Chattogram on May 9-10 for Chattogram and Cumilla divisions; the second will be in Khulna on May 16-17 for Khulna and Barishal divisions; the third will be in Bogura on May 23-24 for Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions; and the final program will take place in Dhaka on May 27-28, covering Dhaka, Faridpur, Sylhet, and Mymensingh divisions. During the conference, leaders also claimed that any complaints against members of these wings are being dealt with promptly.
