Khaleda Zia is expected to be flown to London shortly after midnight

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is expected to leave for London after midnight or early tomorrow morning on an air ambulance for advanced medical care, according to her personal physician and BNP Standing Committee member Dr AZM Zahid Hossain.
He shared the update while speaking to journalists outside Evercare Hospital around 2:45pm today.
BNP’s verified Facebook page announced at 3:00pm that Dr Zubaida Rahman, wife of acting BNP chairperson Tarique Rahman, will arrive in Dhaka early tomorrow to accompany Khaleda Zia to London Bridge Hospital for specialised treatment.
The post also mentioned that the air ambulance carrying Khaleda Zia will come from Qatar.
Earlier, her adviser Enamul Haque Chowdhury informed the media that the BNP chief will travel with one of her advisers, her daughter-in-law, a medical team of seven doctors, two members of the Special Security Force, and an aide to the acting chairman.
Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital on November 23 after her medical board detected infections in her heart and lungs.
The 80-year-old former prime minister is also battling pneumonia and is currently being treated in the hospital’s Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
