Chief Adviser Overwhelmed by Memories of Scouting Life

Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus has remarked that four scouts sacrificed their lives during the July mass uprising to build a new Bangladesh, an event he described as rare in world history. He made these comments on Monday (June 23) while presenting the Shapla Cub Award to scouts at his office in Tejgaon, Dhaka. During his speech, Dr. Yunus fondly recalled his own scouting days, sharing that he first joined the Scouts in seventh grade and later participated in various national and international programs. Deeply moved while reminiscing, he encouraged the young scouts to remain dedicated and focused in their journey. Following his address, Dr. Yunus officially inaugurated the Cub Carnival.
