The renowned scholar and mosque Imam Allama Rais Uddin was brutally murdered by a group of Rajakar criminals in Gazipur. This incident has been strongly condemned by Allama Imam Hayat, the founder of the Global Sunni Movement and the Chairman of the Global Humanity Revolution.

In a statement sent to the media, Allama Imam Hayat condemned the horrific murder of Allama Rais Uddin and held the police partially responsible for his death. He said, “While returning from a protest rally against the Israeli massacre in Gaza and Palestine, an Islamic scholar was severely injured in an attack by a group of violent extremists. Instead of being taken to a hospital for treatment, the police put handcuffs on him and detained him in the police station, pushing him towards death. The inhumane, brutal behavior of the police must be condemned in the strongest terms.”

Allama Imam Hayat further elaborated that before his death, Allama Rais Uddin had asked for water while in police custody. However, at the instruction of the killers, associated with the group of Rajakar and extremists like the ones from the era of Muawiya and Yazid, the police refused to give him water and instead took the bottle back.

Allama Imam Hayat called for the arrest and harsh punishment of all the killers, including the extremists and police officers responsible for this crime. He also urged the citizens to unite against all forms of religious extremism, violence, terrorism, and dictatorship in the name of religion.

He appealed to all human rights advocates to come together to protect everyone’s right to life, freedom, and the preservation of their religion, democracy, state, and human rights in the face of these destructive forces.

He urged all humane individuals in the country to join in this effort to safeguard humanity.
