Israeli Bombings in Gaza Leave 50 Palestinians Dead

In the besieged Gaza Strip, Israeli airstrikes have killed over fifty Palestinians, bringing the total death toll from Israeli aggression in the region to nearly 50,700. According to Al Jazeera on Monday (April 7), Israel launched a series of heavy bombings in Gaza’s central areas after ordering residents in five neighborhoods of Deir al-Balah to flee. This latest wave of attacks resulted in several fatalities, including a journalist.

 

Anadolu Agency reported that in the eastern part of Gaza City, Israeli shelling on Al-Nakheel Street killed ten people, including eight children, and left several others injured. In Deir al-Balah, five more people were killed in Israeli airstrikes. Another medical source confirmed that three people were killed in the Shujaiya neighborhood in the eastern part of Gaza City.

 

Further, Israeli airstrikes near the Al-Mawasi refugee camp in western Khan Younis killed one Palestinian and injured several others. In the northern Gaza Strip, artillery shelling in Jabalia’s Salam neighborhood claimed the lives of four more individuals. Medical reports also confirmed that a drone attack on the displaced persons’ camp in Zawaida, central Gaza, killed one Palestinian and injured several more.

 

In the south, in Khan Younis, Israeli airstrikes on a residential house killed eight people, and another attack in the Kizan Raswan area targeted civilians, killing one. Additionally, an Israeli shelling attack on a displaced persons’ shelter in Al-Mawasi killed a Palestinian child and injured several others. These attacks are part of the ongoing Israeli military operations, which have devastated the Gaza Strip and led to widespread casualties among Palestinians, including children and civilians.
