A nationwide mobilization titled “March for Gaza” is set to take place in Dhaka today in protest of Israeli aggression against Palestinians. Although the event is scheduled to begin at 3 PM, people from different parts of the country have already started arriving at Suhrawardy Udyan since morning, with many having entered the venue.

The demonstration was announced by a platform called Palestine Solidarity Movement, Bangladesh, which received widespread support across political and social lines. Ahead of the event, the organizers shared several important instructions on their official Facebook page to ensure a peaceful and organized turnout.

Among the specific announcements, it was noted that the TSC Metro Station would remain closed for the day. Additionally, roads will remain specially accessible for students taking exams, who are advised to leave home early and reach out to volunteers if they need assistance.

Participants have been asked to carry personal essentials such as water, umbrellas, and masks, and to help maintain cleanliness at the venue. The organizers emphasized maintaining patience and discipline under all circumstances and called for full cooperation with volunteers and law enforcement.

Attendees are encouraged to avoid political symbols and instead bring only creative banners or placards, along with Bangladeshi and Palestinian flags to express solidarity. Vigilance against any disruptive activities was also urged, with instructions to coordinate with security forces if necessary.
