The BNP’s three affiliate organizations—Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, and Swechchhasebak Dal—have launched a protest march and memorandum submission program directed at the Indian High Commission in Dhaka. The event began on Sunday at 11:30 AM in front of the BNP central office in Naya Paltan.

Leaders and activists of the three groups gathered at the BNP central office starting at 10:00 AM. From there, they prepared to march towards the Indian High Commission in Baridhara. The gathering caused a partial shutdown of one side of the road near the central office.

At around 10:45 AM, a brief rally was held in front of the BNP office, after which the protestors set out for the Indian High Commission. This program was organized in protest against alleged Indian aggression.

In a joint statement issued on Saturday, the three organizations announced the initiative, condemning incidents such as the attack on Bangladesh’s Assistant High Commission in Agartala, the desecration of Bangladesh’s national flag, and attempts to incite communal unrest.
