Greeting Exchange by Bangshal Thana BNP’s Joint Convener Mamun Ahmed

With the presence of Dhaka South BNP grassroots activists and affiliated members, the newly formed convening committee of Bangshal Thana BNP was formally inaugurated.

In this committee, Mr. Tajuddin Ahmed has taken responsibility as convener, while Mr. Md. Mamun Ahmed has assumed the role of first joint convener.

At the event, party leaders and activists greeted the newly appointed convener and joint convener with floral bouquets, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The hall echoed with applause and cheers from enthusiastic grassroots members.

During their remarks, the leaders pledged:

“We will work collectively to strengthen the organization. BNP’s struggle for rights and democracy will reach every ward and every neighborhood.”

They also expressed heartfelt respect and admiration for Engineer Ishraq Hossain—regarded as a people’s leader, a courageous figure of the streets, and the elected mayor of Dhaka— stating:

“Engineer Ishraq Hossain is our constant inspiration. He has always stood beside the people, given us courage during difficult times, and remains a symbol of the democratic movement in our hearts.”

The program concluded with a collective vow from the activists: to unite all grassroots members, build a stronger organization, and continue the struggle for democracy and the rights of the people.
