2,529 Traffic Cases Filed in Dhaka in Two Days

In a two-day operation against traffic law violators across various parts of the capital, the Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed a total of 2,529 cases. Conducted on Sunday and Monday (April 14), the operation also resulted in the dumping of 319 vehicles and towing of 99 more. The information was confirmed on Tuesday (April 15) by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman of DMP’s Media and Public Relations Division. He further stated that such drives will continue in an effort to maintain traffic discipline in the city.
