Gas Supply Cut in These Dhaka Areas on Friday for 14 Hours

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company has announced a 14-hour gas supply suspension in several areas of Dhaka on Friday, April 18. In a press release issued Thursday, the company stated that from 10:00 AM to midnight, gas supply will be suspended for all industrial, commercial, and captive consumers in the areas stretching from the Grameenphone headquarters in Bashundhara Residential Area to Subastu Tower in Shahjadpur. This includes North South University, Unique Hotel, the U.S. Embassy, Ananta Energy Resources, Pinnacle Power, Progoti CNG, and the Balaka Building in Kawla.
Additionally, residents in areas such as Nikunja, Khilkhet, Baridhara, Bashundhara, Kuril, Jagannathpur, Kalachandpur, and the surrounding neighborhoods may experience low gas pressure during the same period.
Titas Gas has apologized for the temporary inconvenience caused to consumers.
