Md. Sarwar Alam has been appointed as the Press Secretary to President Md. Shahabuddin. According to a notification issued on Monday, December 23, by Deputy Secretary Abul Hayat Md. Rafique of the Ministry of Public Administration, the appointment is effective for two years on a contractual basis.
The order specifies that under Section 49 of the Government Service Act, 2018, Md. Sarwar Alam (ID: 7609) must relinquish any other employment, business, or affiliation with government, semi-government, or private organizations to assume this role.
