The BNP has issued instructions prohibiting the inclusion of members of other political parties or non-political individuals in its committees at any level. On Thursday, a directive was sent to leaders and activists across all levels of the BNP and its affiliated organizations, from ward committees to the central level.

In a statement by Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, concerns were raised about attempts by individuals from various political organizations of the outgoing Awami League government to infiltrate the BNP and its affiliates. It specifically mentioned an incident involving the “Zia Cyber Force,” which reportedly announced a fraudulent committee at Pabna University of Science and Technology under the name of Chhatra Dal, allegedly including members of the ruling party’s student wing. The BNP described this as a deceptive tactic by collaborators of authoritarian forces and urged leaders at all levels to remain vigilant.

The statement also highlighted the misuse of the names of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman, Chairperson Khaleda Zia, Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, and the term “nationalist” by unauthorized groups. Despite previous warnings, fraudulent entities continue to operate under the guise of BNP-linked organizations. The party reiterated its request for all leaders and activists to stay alert against such groups and their activities.
