Chief Advisor heads to Qatar for Earthna Summit

Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor of the interim government, is set to visit Qatar to attend the second edition of the “Earthna Summit” (Our Earth), organized by the Qatar Foundation in Doha. The summit, scheduled for April 22-23, aims to address climate change adaptation strategies for Qatar and other warm climate nations. Dr. Yunus has been officially invited as a speaker and is expected to depart for Qatar on April 21.
Alongside Dr. Yunus, prominent global figures such as UN Under-Secretary-General Ibrahim Thiaw, Gauri Singh, Deputy Director of IRENA, and Dr. Grethel Aguilar, Director General of IUCN, will also be speaking at the event. Prior to this, on April 3, Dr. Yunus participated in the BIMSTEC Summit held in Bangkok, Thailand.
