Interim Government’s Chief Returns from Rome to Dhaka

After attending the funeral of Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City, Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has returned to Bangladesh. He arrived in Dhaka at around 3:00 AM on Sunday night (April 27). Earlier on Sunday, around 1:30 PM Bangladesh time, Dr. Yunus departed from Rome. Before traveling to Italy, the Chief Advisor had flown from Doha, Qatar to Rome last Friday. During the funeral ceremony, he joined world leaders in paying tribute to the late Pope.
