Workers Returning to Dhaka Before Holidays End, Heavy Passenger Flow on the Way

After celebrating Eid with their families, working people are now returning to the capital. Since Friday morning (June 13), Kamalapur Railway Station has seen a noticeable surge in passengers. However, travelers expressed relief as trains were mostly arriving on time.
Many are taking advantage of the long holiday this year, planning their return early to avoid hassles. Passenger crowds have also increased on waterways. From early morning, launches from the southern regions began arriving fully packed at Dhaka’s Sadarghat Launch Terminal.
People are now heading back to Dhaka to rejoin work after Eid. Passengers shared that smooth, hassle-free journeys have made their Eid celebrations even more joyful. Still, some complained about the slow speed of return launches.
