Azad Rahman President, Hamidur Rahman General Secretary of RHD Engineers’ Association

In the central executive committee election of the Roads and Highways Engineers’ Association for the 2025-2027 term, A.K.M. Azad Rahman, Additional Chief Engineer, has been elected as the President, while A.K.M. Hamidur Rahman, Executive Engineer, has been elected as the General Secretary.
The election took place on February 8, 2025, at Sarak Bhaban, Tejgaon, Dhaka.
Additionally, the following individuals have been elected to other key positions:
Vice Presidents: Md. Enamul Haque and Md. Mohibul Haque
Joint Secretaries: Jay Prakash Chowdhury and Ashiq Qadir
Treasurer: Md. Golam Rabbani
Organizing Secretary: Md. Arafat Saklayan
Sports and Cultural Secretary: Md. Emmanuel Islam Emon
Media and Publicity Secretary: Md. Mizbah-ul-Alam
Publication Secretary: Md. Ainun Nishat Khan
Office Secretary: Md. Saddam Hossain
Additionally, 11 executive members have been elected: Khan Md. Kamrul Ahsan, Md. Moniruzzaman, Mohammad Abdul Halim, Dr. Md. Waliur Rahman, Md. Nurun Nabi Torofdar, Md. Moniruzzaman, Farhana Husna, Khondokar Golam Mostafa, Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Dr. Md. Mohsin Hawlader, and Md. Shahe Arefin.
In total, a 23-member executive committee has been formed.
It is noteworthy that the 33rd Annual General Meeting of the Roads and Highways Engineers’ Association was held before this election.
