BCB Reduces Ticket Prices for BPL Music Fest

The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will host a Music Fest during its 11th edition in Dhaka, Sylhet, and Chattogram. The Dhaka event, featuring renowned Pakistani musician Rahat Fateh Ali Khan along with popular local artists, will take place on December 23 at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium. To make it more accessible for fans, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has reduced ticket prices.
Originally, ticket prices ranged from 2,500 to 12,000 BDT for different categories, but after a board meeting on December 20, the prices were revised. The minimum ticket price is now set at 500 BDT for the Club House category, 1,500 BDT for Grand Stand, 4,000 BDT for Silver, 6,000 BDT for Gold, and 8,000 BDT for Platinum. Additionally, 100 seats have been reserved for victims of the July-August anti-discrimination movement at the “Zone 36” area.
Tickets for the event are available on the online platform “Tickify” and can also be purchased in person at various locations, including the ticket booth at the stadium and several restaurants. The event will open at 2:30 PM, and no entry will be allowed after 4:30 PM.
Along with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, other performers include popular bands like Miles and Avoid Rafar, as well as rap artists like Hannan, Zephar, Muza, and Sanjoy. After Dhaka, the music fest will also be held in Sylhet and Chattogram. The BPL season will officially begin on December 30.
