The results of Bangladesh’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on Saturday, October 31, two days later than previously scheduled.
Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, convener of the Inter-Education Board and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the revised date.
The results had initially been scheduled for Thursday, October 29, after education boards submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Education recommending publication between October 25 and 29.
This year’s HSC and equivalent examinations began on July 2 and concluded on August 8. Practical examinations were initially scheduled to finish by August 15.
However, natural disasters prevented the Chattogram Education Board from holding several written examinations as planned. The postponed examinations were subsequently conducted, with the board completing its written exams on September 9.
