Advance Tickets for March 29 Train Journeys Now Available

In preparation for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, advance tickets for intercity trains have begun selling to ensure smooth travel for homebound passengers. The sale started on March 19, with tickets for March 29 available today. Advance tickets are being sold entirely online for convenience, with tickets for western region trains available from 8 AM and for eastern region trains from 2 PM. According to a notice from the Ministry of Railways, tickets for March 29 will be available on March 19, while tickets for March 30 will be available on March 20. These tickets, sold under special arrangements, are non-refundable. Tickets for March 31, April 1, and April 2 may be sold based on moon sighting. Additionally, standing tickets for non-AC coaches will be available at starting stations before departure. Each passenger can buy a maximum of four seats for the Eid journey.
