Normal operations started in all police stations of Bandarban

After being closed for almost a week in Bandarban, the operations of the seven police stations of the district resumed today on Monday. As the policemen who were on strike joined the work, the operation of the police station started.

Policemen of constable to inspector rank started joining police stations, outposts and police lines from morning. The students and Ansar members who were on duty on the road went back after the traffic policemen joined.

Bandarban Sadar Police Station, which has been deserted since August 5, was crowded with people since this morning. When asked, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Jalil said that everyone in the police station has joined the workplace. On the first day there were three general diaries, no cases.

The OC of Ruma and Lama police stations said that all the policemen have already joined the work in the two police stations. Now everything is running normally as before.

District Superintendent of Police Saikat Shaheen said that police activities are going on normally in the district. Some policemen are on leave. They will join by August 15.
