Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqul Rahman has commented that lawlessness and the influence of Indian culture have led to an increase in shamelessness and misconduct in households.
He made these remarks while addressing a prayer meeting for Afiya, the victim of rape and abuse, at the Sonakundi Government Primary School grounds in Magura on Saturday morning (March 15).
In his speech, Dr. Shafiqul Rahman said, “Sexual abuse and rape against women are not being stopped due to the lack of justice in the country. Therefore, a justice-based state structure should be established.”
