Tamim Iqbal Suffers Heart Attack, on Life Support

Tamim Iqbal has been placed on life support after falling ill during a match. On Monday morning (March 24), he was admitted to Fazilatunnesa Hospital in Savar.
Tamim was playing for Shinepukur at BKSP’s field number three when he started experiencing chest pain. Plans were made to transfer him to Dhaka, and a helicopter arrived at the field. However, his condition worsened, making the transfer impossible. Instead, he was taken to the nearest hospital, where it was confirmed that he had suffered a severe heart attack. He is currently under treatment in the cardiac unit.
Meanwhile, a scheduled emergency meeting of BCB directors was postponed due to Tamim’s health situation.
Wishing him a speedy recovery, Liton Kumar Das posted on Facebook, “Get well soon, Tamim Bhai. Praying for your quick recovery.”
